It is obvious that this person must be reachable during these periods. Some tasks for the technically responsible person : - contact TSL staff about all technical matters well before the run, - attend the schedule meeting (Thursday 9.45) the week before the run (recommended), - make sure that all equipment is handled according to general/local safety regulations, - arrange so that the experimental areas are left in good order and closed after the run, - see that keys, badges, and borrowed equipment are returned in due order after the run. ** The Radiation protection responsible person should make sure that the Radiation Protection Rules of the TSL are well known to each group member and that all work is done in accordance. This person is also responsible for the registration of each group member in the Personal Dosimetry System. *** NOTE: a computer without announced MAC address will not obtain a valid IP-number and thus will not have wired internet connectivity. **** We recommend that visiting groups from abroad borrow free guest cell phone(s) from TSL.
