The Anita Facility - Quasi-monoenergetic neutron beam facility - Protons

KEY PARAMETERS:

• Energy range: 20 – 175 MeV
• Beam diameter: 0.4 – 20 cm
• Proton flux:
  Scattered beam: 5×10ˆ7 … 5×10ˆ9 /cmˆ2/s
  Direct beam: 10ˆ11 … 10ˆ12/ cmˆ2/s
• Range of the proton flux control: 10 orders of magnitude
• Non-uniformity of the beam: <10% at the highest energy and the largest beam diameter; can be improved → decrease in proton flux
• Upgraded last time in 2003.
